So ive had a good look at music illustrations and i think its time to look at certain genres so i can get a look into what is out there and to see what i might be interested in doing.
Some genres i may look at are Hip hop, Motown, Reggae, Rap, Soul. I dont like pop because its too man made and fake and i think because im not in the style of rock i dont think id do it justice so im going to stick to a song and genre i really like.
HIP HOP ILLUSTRATIONS
I think hip hop illustration can be very experimental but i think it has to be street and cant be too arty but if i put hip hop artist in the illustration i think the street part is ticked therefor i can do whatever i want.
MOTOWN ILLUSTRATIONS
I couldnt find much in this search and they all seemed to be vector and i was hoping for variety. Motown is a favourite of mine as its got soul and style and combining that together would create an amazing outcome.
REGGAE ILLUSTRATIONS
