Vinyl cover research

Now im doing the vinyl idea im looking at reggae vinyl covers..

These were the best of the covers i could find. The top one is just the rasta flag and i think these colours are vital on my design, the second image is drawn and this style is something i might end up creating but apart from that i just love reggae christmas. The 3rd image has only one thing i like and thats the cannabis leaf which again i think should be on my cover not because its a stoner song or anything like that but because it was part of bob marleys life and to him it wasn't a drug but a herb. The last image i was looking atw the text is designed arund the circle, i like the look of this and i research some designs earlier that did this so i may do my own version.
